Loved our little pit-stop here at Amsterdam Ale House. You don't need my review to add to the accolades of a cozy beer stop with great service and good snacks. We saw a couple of lunch plates go by and they looked amazing as well. The service behind the bar was so helpful and we enjoyed just visiting and having an ice cold beer while the weather outside cooled down. Loved it!

Old school. Authentic. Cool. And easy. The prices are reasonable for the neighborhood. The staff are lovely. The food is way better than expected. And lots to choose from. The chef is damn handsome. The beer is cold. This place is great. Unpretentious. Real. Solid. And the decor is great. It's a win-win.

Very decent burger, which was the reason why I went in there and the Allgash beer which I read about here on Yelp is quite good. The place itself is big nice corner location with tables outside and is very spacious inside (perhaps feeling more spacious than it is due to windows forming most of the outer perimeter. Friendly staff I don't think I'll have another burger there, but I may return for other things and certainly for some of the beer on tap. Laid-back & boisterous in the way that bars can be but not overwhelming; really liked the place and think that anybody who goes there will enjoy it. Recommended.
